Safe In Your Mother’s Arms
Some dirtbags had all four of their Pits and Italian Mastiff Pitts in the waiting room as I brought the kitten in today. Well, gut instinct, mine, is so amazing I stand in awe of it at times when it comes to judging situations.
Went out to have a cig and had kitten swaddled in pink fuzzy blanket in my left hand. That Pitt boy had a dangerous glint in his eye. The teenager let his leash go and he made a beeline for the carrier in the waiting room. Outside, I heard the commotion. He took the grate clean off. The contents spilled on the animal hospital floor. Snugglesafe & blankets. Not on my watch. She was safe & warm in her mother’s arms. Pics on the way.
